Bodybuilding is no new phenomenon but today it has taken an
altogether new dimension. Having a great body has become a craze among

In our body the muscles are the motor machines that help in any kind of movement. What are muscles? Muscles are built up of a thick bundle of muscle fibers packed bundles. On getting electrically stimulated by the impulses that are controlled by the brain, these muscle fibers expand or contract. These tissues react to the changing biological or physical environment in terms of growth which at most of the times is dormant in nature but increases when the brain senses some kind of danger to the body. That means due to a sudden increase in the work load the muscles may damage. But our body deals with this work load very smartly as it shuts down the growth process once the extra work demands are met.
Therefore it is always advised that you should never follow any strict work out schedule. You should instead alternate between different muscle group exercises to achieve a plateau. This plateau signifies the time when body stops the process of building the muscle mass. It is also a good practice to introduce variations within your exercise routines. A major thing that most of the people ignore while doing muscle training is the amount of rest that one must take. In fact a common myth amongst most bodybuilders is that they get great results if they practice a continuous exercise regime. The truth is that the process of muscle regeneration actually takes place during rest. A good work out session includes appropriate timings for rest.
